BLOODY OSIRIS: THE KING OF FIT PICS

From Harlem to high fashion, turning personal style into an art form.

Long before Bloody Osiris became a familiar face at fashion shows or worked alongside some of the biggest names in music and fashion, he was a kid from Harlem developing his own understanding of what it meant to dress well. Growing up surrounded by New York’s street culture, Osiris learned early that clothing was more than something you wore. It was a way of expressing individuality, confidence, and identity.

His introduction to the fashion industry came through Instagram, where his unconventional outfits began attracting attention in the early 2010s. While much of fashion was moving toward slimmer silhouettes, Osiris experimented with oversized trousers, unusual proportions, exaggerated footwear, and pieces from designers like Rick Owens, Raf Simons, and Undercover. He wasn’t necessarily concerned with following trends. He was more interested in seeing how far he could push the clothes themselves.

By 2016, his personal style had caught the attention of Kanye West, leading to his appearance in the Yeezy Season 3 presentation at Madison Square Garden. The opportunity helped introduce him to a much larger audience, but his relationship with Virgil Abloh would become one of the most important chapters of his career.

Abloh recognized Osiris as someone who understood fashion beyond its traditional rules. In 2017, Osiris worked on the styling for Off-White’s Spring/Summer 2018 presentation in Florence, which featured a collaboration with artist Jenny Holzer. When Abloh became artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear in 2018, their creative relationship continued. Osiris became closely associated with the world Abloh was building, even reportedly serving as the physical reference for mannequins used in Louis Vuitton stores.

His influence also extended into music. Osiris became involved in styling and creative work surrounding Travis Scott and the Cactus Jack collective, contributing to the visual language that connected contemporary rap with luxury fashion. His relationships with artists like Playboi Carti, Sheck Wes, and Don Toliver further established him within a generation where music and fashion increasingly existed in the same creative space.

But perhaps what Bloody Osiris is most recognized for is the art of the fit pic. Where most people photograph their outfits outside their homes or on city streets, Osiris has turned getting dressed into something closer to an editorial production. He has traveled across the world, using everything from European architecture to Iceland’s volcanic landscapes as the backdrop for his wardrobe. During a 2021 trip to Iceland, he photographed himself at Reynisfjara’s black sand beach wearing a Balenciaga fur jacket over a technical 66°North shell, Dainese motorcycle trousers, and Rick Owens sneakers. His travels also took him to the Reykjanes peninsula and Öxarárfoss waterfall, where the surrounding landscapes became just as important as the clothing.

These photographs have become an essential part of his identity. Whether wearing archival designer pieces, experimental collections, or garments that have barely left the runway, Osiris approaches each outfit as something worth documenting. In June 2021, he was photographed in a complete Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2022 runway look less than a day after the collection was presented. Virgil Abloh celebrated the moment himself, recognizing how Osiris could take a garment directly from the runway and give it another life through his own imagery. His Instagram has become a personal fashion archive, one where location, styling, and photography all contribute to the final image.

Outside of those photographs, Osiris was building something of his own. His early label, Jerome Jhamal, explored accessories, graphics, and clothing inspired partly by themes of incarceration and personal experience. In 2019, he co-founded Murd333r.FM with Aris Tatalovich, developing a brand recognized for its bold graphics, unconventional designs, and references to popular culture. The label later collaborated with designer Alexander Digenova during New York Fashion Week in 2023.

Over time, his work expanded beyond clothing. He collaborated with Axel Arigato on footwear, developed sculptural furniture with Christopher Mark and ⅞, and released a jewelry collection with GLD in 2026. Each project reflects an interest in taking familiar objects and reconsidering how they should look or function.

What makes Bloody Osiris’s story interesting is that his career was never built around a single job title. He became a model, stylist, designer, and creative collaborator largely because of the way he saw things. Before the industry gave him opportunities to create, he was already creating through the way he dressed.

From Harlem to Paris, his career reflects a generation of creatives who entered fashion without waiting for permission. And while his relationships with Kanye West, Virgil Abloh, and Travis Scott introduced his work to a wider audience, the foundation of his influence has remained the same: an individual perspective on clothing that people continue to pay attention to. For Bloody Osiris, getting dressed has never been enough. The outfit deserves a photograph, and sometimes that means traveling halfway across the world to take it.
